Hey, I’m Derin.
I’m a graphic designer based in Milan, with a deep appreciation for visual aesthetics and emotional nuance.
Quietly – and sometimes not so quietly – I observe life, love, relationships, and the strange little dance of human connection. I started questioning reality when I was nine. After years of trying to fit in and figure myself out like many people in their early 20s, I realized something important: my life has never been a straight line.
I moved away from home at eighteen. Since then, I’ve found “home” in cities, in fleeting moments, and in people. some who stayed, and some who didn’t. Like most of us, I’ve had my heart broken more than once. I’ve lived through almosts, maybes, and all the messy in-betweens.
So I did what any romantic realist would do:
I started writing.
This blog is where I process the things we don’t always say out loud. The space between love and loss. The unsent messages. The emotional fine print. It’s honest, a little raw, and probably too much at times. Just like me.
My journey into self-love didn’t start early, and it didn’t look like anyone else’s. I learned that self-care doesn’t have to be aesthetic, perfect, or performative. That spirituality doesn’t come with a rulebook. That there’s no single right way to be human.
I learned to go with the flow. To embrace change. To soften where I used to resist. I practiced patience. I learned peace.
And I’m here to show that with small shifts, gentle observations, and tiny adjustments, life can feel lighter, and a lot more whole.
This space is about soft wellness, healthy love, and feeling our way through life, gently, honestly, and at our own pace. No fixing. No forcing. Just feeling better, one small step at a time.
